When Bochco Productions liked Ken‘s NYPD Blue spec script, they asked for an additional dramatic writing sample. It was at that moment that Ken learned how to write a screenplay. Sort of.
Ken earned his membership to the WGAEast with a “written by” credit for “Nicky Voglio,” a low-budget feature shot in Utah, New York, and Catania and Taormina, Sicily.
Ken is currently developing “The Bravest Women” into a stage musical.
Ken’s music has been featured in the scores of “Moab: Then and Now”(documentary), “Nicky Voglio“ (feature), and “Life As We Know It” (TV special). He is a full member of BMI as a writer, as is his publishing company, Unsolicited Music . He named the company that in order to make the form-letter-rejections feel personalized.
He has written the music for two work-in-progress musicals:
“The Next Step“ and “SeinMeUp.”
A long, long time ago in a galaxy not so far away, Ken was a professional photographer for the sports and entertainment industry (with a niche in daytime TV).
These days, he enjoys travel photography.
